Each December, Hanukkah, a non-appointed feast, is observed as a time to gather together to commemorate the rededication of the Temple in 165 BC by the Maccabees. Beginning on a Friday evening and ending on a Sunday afternoon, Hanukkah is held at the Growing in Torah Farm in Orosi, CA. From re-enactments, Latke making championships, to boat racing, cookie decorating, and plenty of dancing, it’s a time to come and fellowship with like-minded believers. Most of the meals are potlucks and while there are not housing accommodations, guests are invited to camp out on the property or book a local hotel. Stay tuned for more information on registration.
